
Hispanic Heritage Month 2026
Presented by the ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø Hispanic-Latino Heritage Club
Culmination: Café Hispano
Wednesday, October 14 from 9-11 a.m. in the Library & Learning Center – Knowledge Commons (1st floor) at ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø Bradenton
Tasting of coffees and teas from different Latin American countries and refreshments, along with an opportunity to listen to Oral Histories recorded by some of our ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø staff and students who have a Hispanic Heritage.
Month-long/ongoing programs:
- Hispanic Food: The ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø Cafeteria/Food Services will include special recipes of Hispanic food in their menus throughout the month.
- Books, Videos and More at the ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø Library: All three ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø Libraries will feature book displays with resources by Hispanic creators and/or about the many Hispanic and Latin American cultures represented in our Nation.
- Trivia and Streaming Video: The screens in the Library Forum and other public screens will showcase films, documentaries, and trivia questions related to Hispanic culture, history, and celebrities.
