Educator Preparation Institute at ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø to Host Virtual Information Sessions

(Bradenton, Fla., Feb. 7, 2022)&²Ô²ú²õ±è;—&²Ô²ú²õ±è;The Educator Preparation Institute (EPI) at ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø, Manatee-Sarasota (ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø) will host virtual information sessions for individuals interested in earning a professional teaching certificate. This program is for anyone with a bachelor’s degree in a noneducation major and teachers with temporary certificates.
During these free sessions, attendees will learn about the application process, curriculum, courses and program requirements. Participants in ºÚÁϳԹÏ꿉۪s Educator Preparation Institute (EPI) meet one evening each week, 6-8:30 p.m., for eight weeks per course. Students who complete the program and successfully pass the required state exams are eligible for the Florida Department of Education’s professional teaching certificate.
The virtual information sessions will be held via Microsoft Teams on the following dates:
- Wednesday, Feb. 9, 6 p.m.
- Wednesday, March 23, 6 p.m.
- Tuesday, April 12, 6 p.m.
