ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø Board of Trustees Report: February 22, 2022

(Bradenton, Fla., February 22, 2022)&²Ô²ú²õ±è;—&²Ô²ú²õ±è;ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø, Manatee-Sarasota (ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø) District Board of Trustees (BOT) held its regular monthly meeting virtually and in-person with essential staff and trustees on February 22.
The board heard a presentation on:
- Fund balances from Julie Jakway, vice president of finance and administrative services.
- Construction projects from Chris Wellman, associate vice president of facilities.
The board approved:
- Nonfinancial and financial consent agenda items.
- A contract in the amount of $394,226.63 with Tandem Construction to provide and install batting cage roof covers at ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø Bradenton.
- A contract in the amount of $204,599 with Willis Smith Construction for the installation of a restroom facility at ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø Bradenton sports area.
- An increase of $23,350.28 in the overall budget from $198,613 to $221,963.28 for the installation of a restroom facility at ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø Bradenton sports area.
- A contract in the amount of $750,858 with Willis Smith Construction for modular relocation from ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø Bradenton to the ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø Collegiate School in Venice.
- An increase of $223,941.37 in the overall budget for a total of $1,123,941.37 for the modular relocation from ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø Bradenton to the ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø Collegiate School in Venice.
- A contract in the amount of $1,171,883 with Willis Smith Construction to provide and install fire sprinklers and stage clouds at the ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø Neel Auditorium.
- An increase of $727,322 for a total of $1,899,205 in the overall budget for the installation of fire sprinklers and state clouds at the ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø Neel Auditorium.
