ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø Nursing to Host Open House in Lakewood Ranch

(Bradenton, Fla., Feb. 17, 2023) — ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø, Manatee-Sarasota (ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø) will host a Nursing Department open house Tuesday, Feb. 21, 3-5 p.m., at ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø Lakewood Ranch, 7131 Professional Parkway, Sarasota. Information about ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø’s Associate in Science in nursing (ASN) and Bachelor of Science in nursing (BSN) degrees will be provided, tours of the Medical Technology & Simulation Center will be offered, and members of the faculty and student support services team will be available for networking and to answer questions.
In the past year, ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø has expanded its ASN enrollment while creating new opportunities to take courses in the evening and on weekends. RegisteredNursing.org recently ranked ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø as the No. 4 ASN program in Florida, a ranking that accounted for all colleges and universities in the state, both public and private. The BSN program at ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø is also highly regarded, and the ASN and BSN programs combined have conferred more than 3,200 nursing degrees since 2010.
Students who complete the ASN program successfully are eligible to take the certification exam to be licensed as a registered nurse (RN). ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø graduates pass the certification exam at a nearly 100% rate each year, far exceeding state and national averages. The BSN program is structured to help working RNs advance in their career and take on roles with supervision and leadership responsibilities.
