(Bradenton, Fla., Nov. 2, 2023) — ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø, Manatee-Sarasota (ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø) Veteran Services will host the college’s annual Veterans Day event honoring those who have served or are currently serving in our nation’s armed forces Thurs., Nov. 9, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø Venice, 8000 S. Tamiami Trail at the Performance Pavilion, and 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø Bradenton, 5840 26th St. W. outside Building 14. The event is free and open to the public, with noted activities available while supplies last.

The annual Veterans Day ceremony at ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø Venice will feature complimentary meals for ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø Student Veterans and families (with ID), a BBQ fundraiser lunch, meeting with American Legion NO-VEL Post 159 members and recruiter stations. Attendees can also learn about Veterans’ benefits, view military displays and make paracord bracelets and honor quilts.

The annual Veterans Day ceremony at ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø Bradenton will feature a tug-of-war competition, crafting thank you cards for veterans, making paracord bracelets and sampling military Meals Ready to Eat (MREs). Attendees can also visit local recruiters.
