ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø, Manatee-Sarasota District Board of Trustees (BOT) held its regular monthly meeting on May 20.

The board heard presentations on:

• President’s Report – Tommy Gregory, J.D., president, ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø.
• ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø Parrish Phase I Design Presentation – Peter Hepner, Hepner Architects, and Kristyna Lannon, Tandem Construction.
• Facilities Construction Projects and Updates – Chris Wellman, vice president of operations, ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø.
• Public Safety and Security Briefing – Shawn Patten, associate vice president of operations, ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø
• FY 2025-26 Proposed Salary Schedule and Student Fees Schedule – Julie Jakway, senior vice president of finance and administrative services, ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø.
• President’s 2024-25 Evaluation – Rod Thomson, chair, ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø Board of Trustees.
• ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø Foundation Update – Naming Recommendations – ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø Parrish Phase 1: Cassandra Holmes, vice president of advancement and executive director, ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø Foundation.

The board approved:

• Nonfinancial and financial consent agenda items.
• ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø Parrish Design Concept
• ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø FY 2026-2027 through FY2030-2031 Capital Improvement Program (CIP)
• ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø Parrish Phase 1 Naming Recommendations
