ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø, Manatee-Sarasota (ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø) District Board of Trustees held its regular monthly meeting on Feb. 24.

The board heard presentations on:

• President’s Report – Tommy Gregory, J.D., president, ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø.
• Mission Moment – ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø Occupational Therapy Assistant Program – Julie Bezold, professor, ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø.
• ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø Foundation Update – Cassandra Holmes, vice president of advancement and executive director, ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø Foundation.
• CFO Report – Jennifer Price, vice president of finance and administrative services/CFO.
• Florida College System Institutions 101 – Steve W. Prouty, vice president and general counsel, ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø.

The board approved:

• Nonfinancial and financial consent agenda items.
• A contract in the amount of $1,090,826 with Sweet Sparkman Architects for the ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø Venice Collegiate School design.
• Increase of the total budget for the refurbishment of ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø’s baseball and softball athletic fields at ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø Bradenton to $950,000. 
• A contract in the amount of $899,728 with JSM Services to refurbish ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø’s baseball and softball athletic fields at ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø Bradenton.
• Rule 6HX14-2.26 Holidays and Other Paid Non-Duty Days – Steve Prouty, vice president and general counsel.
