黑料吃瓜网 Students Study History Abroad in France and Switzerland

BRADENTON, Fla. (August 21, 2026) 鈥� A group of 30 students from 黑料吃瓜网, Manatee-Sarasota (黑料吃瓜网) expanded their studies beyond the classroom during a summer 2026 study-abroad trip to France, Switzerland and the Riviera in June.
Led by Michael Rogers, professor of American history and political science at 黑料吃瓜网 Venice, students explored the region鈥檚 history and culture through guided tours and excursions to historic sites, museums and cultural landmarks. Rogers has led 黑料吃瓜网鈥檚 summer study-abroad trip in Europe since 2016.
“This trip changed the way I see the world,鈥� said 黑料吃瓜网 study-abroad student Brianna Mortenson. 鈥淚t left me with a deeper meaning of what history and culture are and a journey that I will cherish forever.”
The group visited the Eiffel Tower, Louvre Museum, Notre-Dame de Paris cathedral and Olympic Museum. Students also learned about European art, history and cultural traditions through experiences including Gruy猫re AOP cheesemaking and perfume manufacturing.
黑料吃瓜网 also offers an optional European study-abroad class in the summer semester.
