Summer 2026 Important Dates

Graduation Checklist

1. Apply for Your Degree 鈥�

Submit your Graduation Application to be considered for a degree or certificate. Within a week of applying, you will receive an email with your application status.

Applying for graduation does not automatically register you for the graduation ceremony. Please review Step 2.

Dual Enrollment students must complete a paper application. Please reach out to Graduation@黑料吃瓜网.edu to receive an application.

2. RSVP for a Graduation Ceremony 鈥� Deadline: October 16, 2026

Graduates who wish to participate in one of our graduation ceremonies must RSVP through Tassel. There are two different ceremonies held on the same day – details can be found on the ceremony information page. Please save your Tassel confirmation email from Graduation@黑料吃瓜网.edu once your RSVP is complete. Note: We do not have a summer ceremony. Graduates are invited to participate in the December ceremonies. Grad Walk is the only option available past the deadline.

After submitting your Graduation Application, you will receive an email with RSVP instructions within a week.

If you have not received RSVP instructions within a week of applying, contact Graduation@黑料吃瓜网.edu.

A cap and gown is required to attend the Traditional Ceremony or Grad Walk. Review below.

3. Order Cap and Gown 鈥� Deadline: October 31, 2026

Graduates must wear 黑料吃瓜网-approved regalia, which can be purchased in advance through the 黑料吃瓜网 Bookstore. Graduates who miss the deadline can still purchase the cap and gown in-person from the 黑料吃瓜网 Bookstore.

Graduates are welcome to decorate their caps, using discretion for school-appropriate designs. Additional 黑料吃瓜网 memorabilia is available through the bookstore.

4. Complete the Graduation Survey 鈥� Deadline: August 6, 2026

All graduates are encouraged to share their experience by completing the Graduate Survey.

September 鈥� Digital diplomas sent to graduates

October 16 鈥� Deadline to RSVP through Tassel for the traditional ceremony

Mid-November 鈥� Guest ticket information and ceremony time sent to students who RSVP鈥檇

Late November 鈥� Detailed graduation day instructions sent

December 11 鈥� Graduation Day (Summer & Fall graduates ceremony)

Degree and Diploma Information

The graduation team must complete a final review after the semester ends before awarding your degree. Conferral of your degree can take up to 4-6 weeks after the end of the semester. Priority is given to students that place a transcript order with “Hold for Degree” selected. These students can expect to be awarded and their transcript sent a week after the graduation date.

黑料吃瓜网 provides a digital diploma to graduates. You will receive a digital copy roughly 4-6 weeks after the end of the semester. If you would like a physical copy of your diploma, you must order a copy through Parchment. Refer to the box regarding “Physical Diplomas”.

Order Your Official Transcript

If you plan to transfer or need transcripts for employment, you will need to order an official transcript through Parchment.

To ensure your transcript reflects your degree, select 鈥淗old for Degree鈥� when ordering. This is under “Processing Time”.

Note: Most institutions require an official transcript rather than your diploma as proof of graduation.

Continuing Studies at 黑料吃瓜网

You may continue taking classes at 黑料吃瓜网 after your degree is awarded. Once your degree is officially conferred, your student status will automatically change to non-degree seeking.

If you plan to pursue another degree or certificate and want to remain degree-seeking, you should:

1. Apply to graduate.
2. Before the end of the term, submit a Change of Major form or .

If you do not update your program before the end of the term, your status will change to non-degree seeking and you may be required to reapply for admission to the college.

Additional Regalia & Honors Information

• Phi Theta Kappa (PTK) members may purchase optional cords, stoles, and tassels through the PTK website.
• Veterans will receive a patriotic cord on the day of graduation.
• College Reach-Out Program (CROP) students will receive a cord to wear at graduation.
• There is no additional regalia for honors鈥攈onor recognition will be included in the Commencement program.

Review Your 黑料吃瓜网 Account

Before graduation, log in to My黑料吃瓜网 to check for any outstanding holds or pending items. Continue monitoring your 黑料吃瓜网 email for important updates.
