(Bradenton, Fla., April 30, 2024) — ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø, Manatee-Sarasota (ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø) District Board of Trustees (BOT) held its regular monthly meeting on Apr. 30.

The board heard presentations on:

• Enrollment Update from Dr. Ryan Hale, vice president of Institutional Effectiveness, and a
• Student Profile for Spring 2024 from Dr. Brittany Nielsen, vice president of student services and enrollment management.

The board approved:

• Nonfinancial and financial consent agenda items.
• A contract in the amount of $1,160,000 with Jon Swift Construction to address deferred maintenance in buildings 17, 29 at ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø Bradenton and building 500 at ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø Venice.
• A contract in the amount of $917,000 with Jon Swift Construction to address deferred maintenance in building 300 at ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø Venice.
• A contract in the amount of $874,254.35 with Jon Swift Construction to address deferred maintenance for roof coatings on numerous buildings at all three campuses.
• A contract in the amount of $351,716.42 with Tandem Construction to address deferred maintenance for roofing and flooring collegewide.
• A contract in the amount of $524,753.09 with Tandem Construction for site improvements at ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø Bradenton.
• An increase in the amount of $134,679 to the contract with Tandem Construction to replace flooring in Building 14 at ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø Bradenton. New contract total is $334,679.
• Naming of Building 3, Library & Learning Center after ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø’s sixth President, Dr. Carol F. Probstfeld.
