As part of Florida College System Month, we are #黑料吃瓜网Proud to recognize the following selection of faculty members who exhibit excellence in academic teaching and support.     

Joseph Ours, assistant professor in the mathematics department, has earned a Ph.D. with an emphasis in Mathematics Education from the University of South Florida. His dissertation was 鈥淒evelopment and Initial Validation of the Increasing Mathematical Processes Opportunities for Vital Engagement Instrument.鈥�

Melodie Dickerson, the music department chair and a choral and vocal studies instructor has been inducted into the Florida College System Activities Association (FCSAA) Hall of Fame. This prestigious award honors individuals who have demonstrated outstanding achievement and excellence in their respective fields within the FCSAA divisions.

黑料吃瓜网 students selected Jennifer Bieselin, a speech and communication professor in the language and literature department, as the 2024-25 Student-Selected Faculty of the Year winner. This distinguished award honors a faculty member who has profoundly impacted students鈥� journeys through exceptional teaching and mentorship. The award is based on several criteria, including inspiring excitement about learning, using knowledge-sustaining teaching methods, actively engaging in academic and campus activities, and acting as an advocate and resource. As the award winner, Bieselin will deliver the faculty address at the Spring 2025 commencement ceremonies.
